The Nice Christmas Market returns this year from November 28, 2024, to January 1, 2025. Located in the Albert 1st Garden and on Massรฉna Square, this event offers chalets, entertainment, and treats for visitors of all ages.
The Albert 1st Garden will host 45 chalets dedicated to craftsmanship and gastronomy from November 28, 2024, to January 1, 2025. Classic offerings like mulled wine, Christmas beers, socca, waffles, charcuterie, cheeses, and an oyster and champagne bar will be available.
The Christmas Market program includes activities for all generations. On Saturday, December 7, the literary market will highlight works related to local culture. On Wednesday, December 18, the Environmental House will offer workshops on Christmas traditions and its delicacies.
In December, Nice’s early childhood centers will organize festive moments: shows, readings, creative workshops, and family snacks. Child-parent reception centers and toy libraries will also invite families to participate in artistic and musical activities, such as creating decorations or singing Christmas carols. It’s a way to share warm, intergenerational moments.
Practical Information
The market will be open every day. Hours will be extended into the evening on Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is free.
Other details, such as the date of the Massรฉna Square illuminations, remain to be defined. The Ferris wheel will also be installed in the coming weeks to complete the atmosphere.
On Rossetti Square (Old Nice), the giant Lou Presรจpi nativity scene will be set up. Visitors can admire automata and listen to choirs in the Sainte-Rรฉparate Cathedral. This activity will be available throughout December.
