Throughout the summer, an outdoor cinema program is available to movie enthusiasts. Several formats are planned in different locations around the city. Access is free, limited to available seating.

Every Wednesday at 9:30 PM, from July 9 to September 3 (except for July 23), the Cinรฉmathรจque of Nice sets up on Quai de la Douane at the port. The program, centered around the theme of the sea and oceans, includes eight films projected under the stars. Among them are Luc Bessonโ€™s The Big Blue, Ang Leeโ€™s Life of Pi, and Jacques Perrinโ€™s Oceans. The last film of the cycle, scheduled for September 3, will be a surprise, in partnership with Crossover and the Hรฉliotrope association.

In parallel, a cinema tour unfolds in several neighborhoods. It is organized by the department of Seniors, Animation, and Associations, with the support of the Cinรฉmathรจque. Screenings take place at 8:30 PM, from June 20 to August 23. They are all in the French version.

The sessions begin on June 20 with A Little Something Extra at Square Daudet. The audience can also see Asterix, Les Visiteurs, Gladiator, Top Gun: Maverick, Welcome to the Sticks, Moana, The Climb, and Finding Nemo. The tour ends on August 23 at the Chalet des Roses school, with a second screening of Moana.

Finally, the association โ€œIl รฉtait un Trucโ€ฆโ€ offers screenings as part of the โ€œร‰cran Totalโ€ tour. They run until July 12 at 9:30 PM, in various places like the Jacarandas Garden, Cours Albert Camus, or Sainte Claire Square. The program includes animated films such as Wildebeest and Kirikou and the Sorceress, as well as a musical session around the film Peaches Goes Bananas.

Meanwhile, the Casa Docโ€™ association is organizing a special screening this Saturday, June 21 at 8 PM. It presents Cartographies sensibles, a program of short films from the Cinรฉma du Rรฉel festival. Two films are featured: Luna Mahouxโ€™s The Other Queen of Memphis, and Maureen Fazendeiroโ€™s The Inhabitants. Reservation is mandatory, as seating is limited.
