Concerts, DJ sets, markets, and workshops will take place every Wednesday and Thursday in July in the courtyard of the 109. An eclectic music program and free activities offered by Panda Events, Twelty, and their partners.
Starting this Wednesday, July 2, the inner courtyard of the 109 in Nice will host a new series of summer events. Named Belaprem, this free event will take place every Wednesday and Thursday until July 31. Created by Panda Events, in partnership with the Twelty collective, the city of Nice, and the 109, this event offers ten consecutive afternoons of music and activities.
The concept is simple: every Wednesday, a music program curated by Panda Events with live concerts and DJ sets. Every Thursday, Twelty takes over for a more urban, dance-friendly, and convivial atmosphere.
But music will not be the only activity offered. The public will also find creator stalls, exhibitions, a children’s area, a refreshment stand, and food trucks.
A varied and lively program
On Wednesdays, genre diversity is on the agenda. This Wednesday, July 2, the stage will open with PLATURNE, Spæce, Lovi, Lui, and Mirage. On July 9, it’s time for Tropical Twist with Dimitri From Panisse, Memphismao, and the band Puta! Puta!. July 16, the Prizme evening will be dedicated to house music. On July 23, the project Le Sud fait mieux takes up the baton, followed by the event Épisode on July 30, dedicated to urban sounds and soul.
Thursdays will be marked by Afro, Brazilian, and hip-hop influences. On July 3 and 24, Lovers will provide Amapiano and Afrobeats DJ sets. July 10, the Do Brasil evening will feature the group Tamo Junto. On July 17, it’s West Coast vibes with California Love and DJ Dirty Swift and Nicopac. July 31, Funktown will close the month with funk sounds.
The events will take place between 5:30 PM and 12:30 AM. Free shuttles will depart at 8 PM from Masséna High School to the site, with a return scheduled for 2:30 AM. It is also possible to reserve parking for 5 euros via the Panda Events website.
For creators, artisans, and artists wishing to exhibit, applications remain open via Grand Playground.
