The applications for the University Côte d’Azur are already open for the 2025-2026 session of the DAEU in a work-study program. This course is aimed at individuals without a diploma who wish to undergo training, resume their studies, or gain employment.
The University Côte d’Azur opens registration for the Diploma of Access to University Studies (DAEU) in a work-study format. This program is intended for adults who did not obtain their baccalaureate. It allows them to acquire a recognized qualification while discovering a profession on the job.
The training extends from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026. The schedule consists of two days per week at the university and three days in a company. During school holidays, the learners are in professional immersion. This organization allows them to stay connected to the working world throughout the year.
The content of the DAEU is based on general courses: written expression, general culture, mathematics… This is complemented by skills useful in several fields, including reception, administration, accounting, or personal assistance professions.
The trainees receive a salary during the training. This allows them to focus on their project without sacrificing financial stability.
The program also benefits companies. By hosting a work-study participant, they train a future employee according to their needs. They contribute to a structured path where motivation plays a key role. The framework of the work-study program facilitates gradual integration into the team.
To learn about the training and ask questions, appointments are offered throughout the summer. The educational team will be present:
– On Tuesday, July 8, from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, at the nautical center of Saint-Laurent du Var;
– On Thursday, July 17, on the forecourt of the Carros media library;
– On Tuesday, September 9, at the Job Forum at Vallauris.
These meetings are open to everyone, without prior registration. They provide information and offer a concrete and supervised opportunity to resume studies.
