Starting August 4, 2025, users will need to go to 4 Rue Ribotti for any inquiries related to lost and found items. The service will remain reachable during the moving phase.
The lost and found service of the Municipal Police of Nice is going to change its location. Currently located at 42 Rue Dabray, it will be relocated to a new address: 4 Rue Ribotti. This relocation will take effect from Monday, August 4, 2025.
To ensure the transition, a relocation period is scheduled from July 28 to August 1 inclusive. During these few days, the agents will not receive the public but will remain available by phone at 04.97.13.25.65. The hours remain unchanged: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM and Friday until 3:45 PM.
An Organized Transition to Ensure Service Continuity
Starting August 4, the public can once again physically present themselves at the counter, this time in the new premises located on the ground floor of 4 Rue Ribotti. The opening hours will remain the same:
- Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM
- Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM
The service will be closed on weekends and public holidays.
The deposit or search for an item can also be done online, at any time, on the site objets-trouves.nice.fr. This digital service is accessible 24/7.
This site change aims to improve accessibility and public reception. The city reminds the importance of quickly reporting any loss or found object. This facilitates the chances of recovery and limits unnecessary procedures.
The municipality invites users to anticipate their requests considering the transition period. For any questions, the service remains mobilized to meet the users’ needs, even during the move.
