The Crossover Festival returns to Nice in September.

Latest News

The Crossover Festival takes place in Nice from September 5 to 6, 2025. For two days, the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure and several iconic locations will host concerts, performances, and activities centered around rap, hip-hop, electro, and urban cultures. The event, organized by the Panda Events association, has now become part of the musical calendar of the French Riviera.

The Crossover Festival has chosen to once again be held at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure, in the city center, just a few steps from the Promenade des Anglais. This venue, surrounded by palm and cypress trees, has already served as the setting for previous editions and allows the public to be welcomed in an open space by the sea.

But the festival is not limited to this site. As every year, it will also take place in other areas of Nice and the department, extending its identity as an itinerant festival. The 2025 edition includes several satellite concepts, with concerts, dance, skateboarding, and graffiti punctuating the week. The Urban Night Market and a food court with food trucks will complement the artistic program.

This approach reflects the spirit of Crossover. Since its creation, it has sought to bridge genres and disciplines. Rap, rock, electro, and pop intersect on stage, but also in the artistic practices offered to the public.

Two Evenings Focused on Urban Cultures

Friday, September 5, 2025 will open the festival with a varied lineup. Jyeuhair, known for his hybrid sounds, will share the stage with L2B, as well as several collectives and DJs like Amapiano, DJ Nuts, Episode, or Reia Crew.

Saturday, September 6, 2025 will have a stronger rap focus. 1PLIKร‰140, a figure in French drill music, will take the stage. H JeuneCrack, whose introspective lyrics resonate increasingly with audiences, will be part of this evening, alongside Jarreau Vandal, Akalex, Black Q, and many DJs and young talents to close out this new edition.

Beyond the concerts, the Crossover Festival remains a showcase for urban cultures as a whole. Dance performances and skateboarding and graffiti sessions are planned, strengthening the link between music and street practices.

For more than ten years, the Crossover Festival has been a significant part of Niceโ€™s cultural life. Its first editions were held in unusual venues such as the former slaughterhouses, the Chรขteau Hill, or the Villa Arson. Today, it has found stability at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure, but it still maintains the desire to explore the territory.

Over the years, the event has also extended its identity in other forms: Crossover Summer, Cocobeach, and even occasional events in the Alpes-Maritimes. Each of these initiatives aligns with the logic of circulating music and encounters in different neighborhoods and communities.

For Nice and the department, this festival represents a major event of the back-to-school season. It attracts a diverse audience, mixing fans of rap, electro, or more experimental music. The variety of locations used also contributes to local integration by highlighting sometimes little-known spaces.

Practical Information

The concerts will take place at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure, accessible by tram (stops Massรฉna or Jean Mรฉdecin) and several bus lines. For visitors arriving by train, Thiers station is less than a twenty-minute walk away. Several parking facilities are available nearby.

The festival will adopt a cashless payment system. Each attendee can load a bracelet online or on-site and use it to pay for drinks, snacks, or merchandise. This solution, already tested in other festivals, helps reduce queues.

Ticket sales are now open, with prices ranging from โ‚ฌ20 to โ‚ฌ45 for a two-day pass.

With this new edition, the Crossover Festival confirms its role in the music scene of the Alpes-Maritimes. Between open-air concerts, urban cultures, and discovering emerging talents, the event promises to be an unmissable meeting of the Nice back-to-school season.
