An official signing ceremony for the strategic partnership between Côte d’Azur France Tourisme and the Jeanne et Paul Augier Hotel School took place on Wednesday, September 24, at the Côte d’Azur establishment. This collaboration marks a new phase in promoting tourism and hotel excellence in the region.
“Our ambition is clear: to bridge the academic world and the professional world to enhance training, promote learning, and contribute to our outreach,” stated Alexandra Borchio Fontimp in her opening remarks. We work hand in hand with elected officials, local authorities, and tourism professionals, such as hoteliers and restaurateurs. We are delighted to be able to connect with those who are our professionals of tomorrow. It is important to emphasize excellence and performance because we need a skilled workforce. This is the excellence that this school (Jeanne et Paul Augier) offers,” adds the President of Côte d’Azur France Tourisme.
Through this partnership, students in the BTS Tourism program will benefit from enhanced support, internship opportunities, and immersion in major projects spearheaded by the destination. This agreement promotes the exchange of skills and sharing of experiences in order to place young talents in training at the heart of the Côte d’Azur’s outreach.
An Engaged Signing
Inside the Jeanne et Paul Augier Hotel School, the documents are ready to be signed. In the presence of the President of Côte d’Azur France Tourisme, the school principal, and all the young talents involved, the ceremony takes on a solemn tone. This agreement, concluded for two years (2025-2027), constitutes a decisive step in bridging the gap between the school and the professional world. It is based on three major axes.
- Train and support students: through internships with Côte d’Azur France Tourisme and its partners as well as active participation of students in destination events.
- Develop knowledge and promotion of the area: imparting the core of the profession through the promotion of the Pass Côte d’Azur France. A tourist information space will be installed in the school lobby.
- Create and animate a professional network: involve students in the network of Côte d’Azur tourism actors through meetings and professional days.
This partnership between these two entities highlights the importance of cooperation between the school and the attractiveness agency. It is part of an approach of transmission, highlighting the talents in training. The school principal is thrilled about the signing of this agreement.
“The partnership we are signing this evening is exemplary. It allows our young people to have more internship opportunities. I am convinced that together, we can do more for the future of our young people and more for the future of this beautiful region. Count on me to support and sustain this wonderful initiative,” stated under the applause of the assembly.
