Launched in Nice, the initiative “Hand in Hand for the Happiness of All” will bring together local associations around a collective challenge: to participate in the No Finish Line in Monaco, from November 15 to 23, 2025, in aid of parasports and visually impaired youth.
In Nice, solidarity also takes the form of sports. Three prominent figures of Nice, Gilles Veissiere, Sébastien Filippini, and Olivier Zampatti, have joined forces around a common project. Their initiative, named “Hand in Hand for the Happiness of All”, is supported by the associations APLA and ANICES, with a simple objective: to make performance rhyme with mutual aid.
The approach was officially presented last week at the Holiday Inn Nice Centre, located on Boulevard Victor Hugo. This establishment, already a partner of the project, hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the event. A symbolic choice for the organizers, who wanted to root this project in the local dynamic.
A Sports, Human, and Niçois Project
The core of the project lies in the participation of the two associations in the No Finish Line in Monaco, a solidarity race open to everyone. Over nine days, walkers and runners will set off to accumulate kilometers which will be converted into donations. Each step will count for two causes:
- To fund a new prosthetic limb for Olivier Zampatti, a parasport athlete involved in the project.
- To offer a trip to visually impaired youth aged 10 to 15, in search of new experiences.
The initiative is a continuation of the work carried out by the ANICES association, based in Nice, which has been promoting parasports for years. “Help us promote parasports and bring our project to life!”, add the members of the association.
The organizers emphasize the collective dimension of this adventure. Members, athletes, volunteers, and partners are mobilizing around a common goal: to support the athletes and offer young participants opportunities for fulfillment.
Walk, Run, Unite
The project is not limited to athletes. Everyone can join the team “Hand in Hand for the Happiness of All”. Two packages are offered:
- Pack 1: registration and T-shirt (€40)
- Pack 2: registration, T-shirt, and sweatshirt (€65)
Participants can walk or run at their own pace, whenever they wish, while contributing to the cause. The message is clear: every kilometer counts.
The most performing participants are not forgotten. Among the team members are Siriporn Roondjira, the second female of the previous edition, and Rai Qi, the first male of last year. A way to mix sports spirit with solidarity.
For the initiators, this action goes beyond sports. It aims to bring together people from different backgrounds, all driven by the same desire to act. The event should also offer new visibility to parasports in Nice.
The organizers hope to rally the local community around this human project, where Nice plays a central role. Through its commitment, the city becomes the starting point of a chain of solidarity that will cross borders.
An appointment is set in the Principality from November 15 to 23, 2025 to support the ANICES association.
