Arenas Nice Challenge: a sports and professional event in full evolution

Latest News

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, the Arenas Nice Challenge will return to the Arénas business district. The event will bring together companies, employees, and students for an evening dedicated to sports, well-being, and professional networking.

The Arenas Nice Challenge will make its comeback in 2026 after its inaugural edition was met with strong support from businesses in the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Area. The event is organized by Modus Operandi Consulting and will take place in the Arénas district, known for its economic dynamism.

The goal remains clear: to offer a collective experience that combines physical activity, internal cohesion, and professional encounters. The 2025 edition brought together numerous companies willing to “defend their colors.” The organizers noted significant participation in both sports and afterwork activities.

The event is part of a broader discourse on workplace quality of life. The presentation document emphasizes that “sport is a powerful lever […] it enhances concentration, strengthens team cohesion, promotes a positive social climate, and above all, creates human connections within organizations.”

The initiative aims to offer companies in the Metropolitan Area an opportunity to engage their employees in accessible and collective activities.

An enriched program for the 2026 edition

The 2026 edition will introduce several new features. Ten sporting and recreational activities will be offered, covering a range of practices: running or walking, yoga, paddle, belote, beach volleyball, Pilates, chess, pétanque, seven-a-side football, and esports. This expanded format responds to feedback gathered after the first edition. The organizers say: “after the first edition, we made sure to hear your opinion and listen to your suggestions.”

Another development involves the inclusion of students. Their participation will foster synergies between campuses, businesses, and young professionals. This openness is aimed at broadening the audience involved while strengthening bridges between education and the professional world.

The event will maintain its two-part structure. Sporting activities will take place from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, followed by an afterwork until 11 PM. Parc Phoenix will host the second part, transforming into a reception space with a concert, dance floor, food stands, and activities.

The afterwork is highlighted as a key feature, noted by the organization as “the most convivial moment of the day” and emphasizing the potential for creating professional connections in a natural and relaxed environment.

A renewed commitment to solidarity

The Arenas Nice Challenge will renew its partnership in 2026 with the Lenval Foundation, which has been dedicated to children’s care for over a century. Each registration will include a donation: “1 registration = 1€ donated by the organizer to the foundation.”

The event will thus maintain a dimension of solidarity integrated into its framework. This collaboration is part of a broader responsible approach, highlighted by several commitments: the use of local service providers, recycling of official outfits, catering focused on local supply chains, and initiatives aimed at improving quality of life at work. These efforts build on those introduced in the previous edition.

An assumed increase in scale

The Arenas Nice Challenge aims to become a lasting fixture in the economic calendar of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Area. The program’s expansion, the involvement of new audiences, and institutional support all contribute to this dynamic. The event positions itself as a meeting combining physical activity, internal cohesion, and networking in an open and accessible atmosphere.

Interested companies can register or become partners. Several levels of engagement are available, offering visibility on-site, in communication materials, or through video content.

The 2026 edition is thus being prepared as a new chapter. It will blend sporting activities, sharing, and professional encounters in a setting designed for the area’s economic actors. Registrations are open here.
