Just a few days before the Mister France 2026 election scheduled for this Saturday, January 17, candidates have taken a general knowledge test. A questionnaire of forty questions with varied themes. We invite you to test your knowledge (further down in the article) to see if you could have claimed the title of Mister France 2026.

The Mister France 2026 election is approaching. The date is set for Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Paris suburbs. Ahead of this event, the 28 candidates are undergoing preparation supervised by the organization.

Just like their female counterparts, the candidates for Mister France must take a general knowledge test during their preparation for the election. This step is part of the mandatory tests. The test is added to the eloquence and engagement trials.

The questionnaire was taken on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The document was provided by the organization.

A questionnaire of forty questions

The test includes more than forty questions. The themes are numerous: mathematics, history, geography, general culture, biodiversity, current events, institutions, arts, sports… Unlike the candidates for Miss France, the regional misters do not have a logic test. There are no questions on the level of English. However, a calculation question is indeed at the end of the questionnaire.

The format is based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Three options are given for one expected answer.

The test is called “general knowledge / IQ test of the Mister France competition”.

Classic and contemporary references

The questions alternate between well-known references and more technical subjects. Literature is represented. Molière appears through “Les Précieuses Ridicules”, “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme”, and “Les Femmes Savantes”. Victor Hugo is mentioned with “Notre-Dame de Paris” and his heroine… No cheating, it’s up to you to find the right answer.

The visual arts are also included with questions about the Louvre Museum and its famous portrait of “La Joconde”.

Recent events have not been overlooked, with questions about general politics or the latest sports results. One question concerns the 2025 Ballon d’Or, another addresses the periodicity of the Summer Olympics.

Sciences, society, and institutions

Sciences are addressed through various entries such as the value of Pi or the Beaufort scale, as well as the role of the Atlas.

Society and French institutions are also included. The location of the presidential residence is questioned. The duration of the presidential term is proposed. The number of departments in ÃŽle-de-France concludes the test.

A test now open to the public

The general knowledge test is an integral part of the competition between the different protagonists in the election.

“Like the candidates for the Miss France title, the candidates for the Mister France sash had to take a general knowledge test this Wednesday, just like the eloquence and engagement trials. This test is composed of 40 questions. Are you ready to measure your knowledge? Take the test!”, the committee specifies.

The questionnaire is now accessible via this link. The public can answer the same questions. The expected level is measured through general knowledge. The test does not designate a winner. The test provides a glimpse of the contest’s expectations.

The election of Mister France 2026 will take place on January 17. The candidates continue their preparation. General knowledge remains a mandatory passage. So will you do better than Dimitri Châtelain, our Mister France Côte d’Azur?
