The 4th edition of the Allianz Riviera Run by On Air will take place on Sunday, March 29. The event has continued to gain momentum since its launch. The organizers announce nearly 3,000 participants for this new edition, which combines sports practice, discovering the stadium, and supporting a social cause.

The concept of the Allianz Riviera Run by On Air is based on exceptional access to the internal areas of the Allianz Riviera. Runners will pass through areas usually reserved for professional teams, such as the OGC Nice locker room, the press conference room, and VIP areas. The course also includes a passage through the National Sport Museum. This configuration gives the event a unique dimension, focused on discovering the stadium.

Registrations remain open until Friday, March 27 at midnight. The organizers aim for a total of around 3,000 participants for this 4th edition, an objective consistent with the progress observed since the launch of the event. Runners still undecided can join one of the three proposed distances.

Among them, The Mèfi Run, a 2 km format, is intended for families and young participants. The 4 km course targets a public wishing to have an accessible experience in a lively setting. The 7 km includes the stadium’s 2,500 steps, a noteworthy element of the event and a marker for participants seeking a physical challenge.

The day will start at 9 a.m. with the opening of the village and the distribution of bibs. Starts will then be staggered until 2 p.m. for the Mèfi Run. The last arrival is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.

Activities will take an important place. Sports initiations will be offered throughout the day. A speaker will ensure the musical atmosphere. Two coaches will supervise collective warm-ups. A recovery area with physiotherapists will be accessible after the effort. Participants in costumes can compete for designated rewards.

Olivier Yvon, commercial and partnership director of Allianz Riviera, sums up the spirit of this edition: “The 4th edition of the Allianz Riviera Run by On Air is much more than just a race; it is a true experience at the heart of the Allianz Riviera. This event, which is gaining growing popular success with nearly 3,000 runners expected, offers participants a unique opportunity to discover the backstages of the stadium and the National Sport Museum. The three proposed courses are designed to suit all levels, allowing everyone to have an unforgettable experience, whether with friends or family. Throughout the day, many activities will enhance the event, offering a festive and friendly atmosphere. Beyond the experience, the Allianz Riviera Run by On Air is also an opportunity to support a social cause as a minimum of one euro per bib is donated for the benefit of the “Children without Pain” program of the OGC Nice Endowment Fund.”

An Enhanced Solidarity Dimension and a Highlighted Collective Project

The event is part of a support approach for the Children without Pain program of the OGC Nice Endowment Fund. Each registration generates a donation of at least one euro. In 2025, this contribution enabled the donation of a 4,500 euro check.

This edition will also highlight a project carried out by eight residents from the Meaulx Life Center. The participants, who have moderate mental disabilities, have been preparing for several weeks to take part in the 4 km course. Their goal is to conquer the stadium’s 2,500 steps. Their endeavor illustrates the desire to make the event a space for inclusion and collective achievement.

Companies will be able to associate themselves with the event through dedicated packages. These formulas include specific reception, a sporty breakfast, a cocktail upon arrival, a soft open bar, and a personalized gift. Group and Works Council rates are offered for the 4 km and 7 km formats.

This 4th edition confirms the desire to offer an accessible sports event, anchored in the territory and open to different publics.
