“Metcuc the film” quite simply for this little powerhouse of the contemporary art world on the French Riviera that has never done her many favors, or even worse. But work pays off when you know how to persevere and the courageous Miss Calendar of Old Nice is today recognized for many other things than her naked poses in the shops of Nice merchants. Attached to Nice and to the Ferrero Gallery where the artist is often exhibited, Nice Premium met a joyful and cheerful Emilie who is preparing an upcoming event in the form of an official union with “her sweetheart”. It’s a beautiful novel, it’s also a beautiful story for those who ultimately stay in the south.
She who had the project, with the Old Nice association, to transform the vile promenade du paillon into a promenade of arts and artists did not find a sympathetic ear at Nice City Hall when today the city is positioning itself to become a Cultural Capital. In a few weeks, the brand new Nice tram will pass along the Jean Jaurés boulevard and it would have been lovely to offer, to those who would look up, suspended art in place of the current cesspool.

Nice Premium: Emilie, are you doing a bit of acting these days?
Actually, it’s the film I created during my first opening at the Ferrero Gallery where you were also almost naked wrapped in cellophane… isn’t that right Franck?
But it took time to adapt it to Dailymotion. In this film there’s nothing to analyze but just to understand that Super Metcuc (SM) likes above all to walk around with a different vision from ours of the tourist sites of the French Riviera, in preparation for my next performance: “Fed up with tourists”
NP: Fed up with what? Fed up with whom? Fed up to the limit???
Fed up with seeing that we are in a country of spinelessness where ultimately few people take charge of their destiny and let themselves be “coddled” in sweet France which is slowly rotting… So I symbolize my era with parody, cynicism and humor…

A Yes to my future husband Olivier TAZE at Nice City Hall, you have to know how to trust a man in your life because it allows you to build and move forward.
I’m not the kind of artist who smokes joints and sleeps around to have experiences, I remain quite serious deep down. Even though my last romantic adventure caused me a lot of suffering, now I tell myself that ultimately I should have cheated on him and lived those famous experiences, in fact, I would have saved time!
And besides Olivier has accepted living with METCUC as well

It’s the day of our first major exhibition in Morocco in Essaouira with the Ambre Maroc association (www.ambre-maroc.ma) which is the newest venture of the Ambre International adventure… Morocco is like my second country, I feel at home there when I go, I’m learning Arabic.
The colors of the Moroccan earth make me vibrate… Long live Morocco!!!
