The production of the Netflix series Emily in Paris is launching a casting call to recruit extras in the Alpes-Maritimes. Filming for season 6 will take place between the end of August and the beginning of September on the Côte d’Azur. Selected candidates will share several scenes from the series starring Lily Collins.
The Netflix teams are preparing the arrival of Emily in Paris on the Côte d’Azur. After several weeks of filming between Paris, Greece, and the Principality of Monaco, the production is now looking for extras for sequences planned in the Alpes-Maritimes.
The casting is aimed at men and women aged 18 to 60. The profiles sought must match the universe of the series created by Darren Star. The production favors people who are “very fashion“, trendy profiles, chic and elegant styles, as well as candidates with a varied wardrobe. Sophisticated outfits and evening wear are important criteria.
Candidates must be able to provide clothing that is “elegant, modern, and suited to the fashion universe of the series.” To submit an application, recent, natural, and color photographs are required. The photos must show candidates with current hairstyles and in “a chic, elegant outfit, your best evening looks.”
Another criterion is essential. Residence must be located in the Alpes-Maritimes or more broadly on the Côte d’Azur. Applications from other areas will not be prioritized.
Filming scheduled between August 28 and September 10 on the Côte d’Azur
The extra work will cover one to two filming days scheduled between August 28 and September 10, 2026. Scenes will be filmed at various locations on the Côte d’Azur.
Selected extras will receive compensation of €98.48 gross per day for eight hours of presence. Bonuses may be applied for overtime or night filming.
This recruitment campaign comes a few weeks after the filming crew’s presence during the Monaco Grand Prix. In early June, Lily Collins, who plays Emily Cooper, was spotted in the paddock and streets of the Principality filming several scenes from the new season.
The sixth season should continue the European expansion of the series. After Paris, Rome, Venice, and Saint-Tropez, the plot will pass through Greece before a stop on the Côte d’Azur and in Monaco. However, creator Darren Star specified that the series follows “the plot organically” but will never “permanently leave its” Parisian base.
No broadcast date has been officially announced by Netflix. A release in the first quarter of 2027 remains possible once filming is complete. In the meantime, this search for extras offers residents of the Alpes-Maritimes the opportunity to participate in one of the streaming platform’s most popular series.
