Cinema: discovering the mystery of the rings off Cape Corsica
For 90 minutes, this continuously screened film recounts the underwater expedition that explored a phenomenon of the seabed off Cape Corsica. Led by a biologist and underwater photographer, Laurent Ballesta, “Gombessa 5: Mediterranean Planet” focused on 1,400 circles spread across white sand at 120 meters depth. Admission is free.

Tour: on the trail of Nice’s Liberation
On August 28, 1944, units of the American Seventh Army advanced along the coast to liberate the city of Nice from German forces. This guided tour will be an opportunity to revisit the fighting that struck the old town of Nice and its surroundings. It will be a narrative about the significant events that helped liberate the people of Nice. Prices range from 3 to 8 euros and registration is mandatory. At the same time, Nice will celebrate the 82nd anniversary of its liberation throughout the day. The program can be found here.

Literature: Readings from the Belle Époque
This literary event is an opportunity to rediscover the beauty of words, in the shade of trees. Sandra Pascual Orsini, tour guide and lecturer, will offer a reading of poems and excerpts from works about Nice during the Belle Époque. Through the light of words, visitors can explore the azure city in its festive, worldly and sumptuous period. Admission is free.

Activities: nostalgia for one last summer day
This event is an opportunity to relive a summer day at summer camp. With family or friends, the hotel will host many workshops during which the keywords will be creations, games and sharing. The afternoon will offer a festive moment in which all generations will gather on the dance floor. From early evening onwards, a DJ set will rhythm this beach evening, like a campfire facing the sea. Throughout the day, participants will be able to lunch and share a drink. Admission ranges from 15 to 25 euros, by reservation.

Literature: meeting with Stella Rocha
The co-author of the book “Allée de la Reine-Marguerite, memories of a Brazilian woman in the Bois de Boulogne” will be present to meet readers. Co-written by Yannis Ezziadi, this work was published in April 2026 by Le Cherche Midi editions. It is the poignant and intimate account of a Brazilian trans woman who arrived in Paris in the early 1990s. Stella Rocha will share her journey filled with hope and solidarity. This meeting will offer a unique perspective on the Bois de Boulogne, questioning dignity, marginality and violence.
For the center, the goal of these meetings is to highlight people carrying strong public messages. This event will be followed by a time for discussion and a book signing session. The work will be offered for sale, in partnership with the Les Parleuses bookstore. Admission is free.
