Local businesses are undergoing significant changes both in customer expectations and in consumption habits. The “La Belle Journée” operation, funded by the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur with the support of Groupama Méditerranée and merchant associations, is being rolled out in 18 towns* with the participation of 33 merchant associations from the Alpes-Maritimes.
The initiative aims to highlight, promote, and maintain the connection with customers in the lead-up to the Christmas season.
The 3rd edition, which will take place this Saturday, is therefore very meaningful: it seeks to boost foot traffic in all shops through small gestures, promotions, surprises, and prizes to be won through the “selfie” game.
This event is a celebration promoting the concept of “pleasure consumption” in an atmosphere of sharing and conviviality. Each participating merchant – identified by signage – can showcase their shop, products, and town. Customers visiting their merchants can take photos with them and thereby win prizes such as a weekend getaway, a day on a sailboat, or a gourmet meal…
This year, the requirements for social distancing and wearing masks will encourage more creativity in the selfie game.
