*A project to promote and transmit historical and cultural heritage to young people in Nice.
The action and animation program named “Nissa XXI” has been offered within schools and leisure centers in the city since the start of this school year.
It includes several components, among which are:
The installation of bilingual French/Niçois signage and historical plaques in Nice schools so that students and educational community members can better understand the history and origin of their school’s name;
The development of booklets for younger generations (on the 21 dates that have marked the history of Nice in the 21st century, on the history of Terra Amata and René Cassin);
The opening of themed leisure centers, notably focusing on Niçois culture.
