The City of Nice celebrates International Human Rights Day on this Saturday, December 10. This day is dedicated to the Iranian people on the occasion of this humanitarian event.
On October 13, a large gathering took place at Place du Palais de Justice, following the violence suffered by the Iranian people. Christian Estrosi wishes to show his support for Iranian women and thus reiterates the commitment of both institutions to gender equality. In this context, all members of the City Council, Iranians, and residents of Nice are invited to gather. Join us on Saturday, December 10 at 11 a.m. in front of the Centenary Monument to march in support of Iranian women towards Rauba Capeu.
A screening of the film Three Faces by Jafar Panahi is also scheduled for the afternoon. The feature film received the Best Screenplay Award at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. After the screening, a roundtable will be held, hosted by Sandra Vieira. This discussion will include esteemed representatives of the Franco-Iranian community, such as Sarah Doraghi, journalist and author. Join us at the Megarama cinema to attend the screening and the roundtable. To recap:
