The Nice Cรดte d’Azur Regional Association of Auditors of the Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defense, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, and the Departmental Military Delegation of the Alpes-Maritimes, as part of the National Day for Wounded Soldiers of the Army, are organizing a charity concert with support at Villa Massรฉna (at 8:30 PM) for the benefit of the Army Wounded Assistance Unit (CABAT).
The chosen date, June 23, is highly symbolic as it corresponds to the eve of the Battle of Solferino (June 24, 1859), after which Henri Dunant (who later founded the Red Cross) organized the first aid for the thousands of wounded left on the battlefield.
The entirety of the proceeds and donations will be given to the Army Wounded Assistance Unit (CABAT). CABAT’s mission is to support the wounded and bereaved families. It works towards the social and professional rehabilitation of these soldiers, most of whom are no longer able to serve in operational situations.
