When music and community life come together for a good cause.
As part of Pink October, a month dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer screening, the Antoine Lacassagne Center, an anti-cancer center in Nice, in partnership with Le Ruban de l’Espoir and the Association Les Amis de Lacassagne, welcomes the internationally renowned countertenor Yann Golgévit for a charity concert in support of the fight against breast cancer.
This unique performance will take place on Thursday, October 8 at 8:00 PM at the Church of Saint Pierre d’Arènes.
Yann Golgevit was trained in Montpellier, at the Opera, in the children’s choir, and then at the conservatory. A musician, he plays the clarinet and the organ before discovering his high-pitched and powerful voice, which he worked on in Toulouse, London, and then Pisa with maestro Roberto Caverni.
