The Petite Messe Solennelle by Gioachino Rossini was composed in 1863.
Originally written for four soloists, mixed choir, two pianos, and a harmonium, the Petite Messe Solennelle was first performed in Paris in 1864.
The performance proposed for this concert, almost identical to the original version, will showcase the originality that Rossini demonstrated.
The audience will have the opportunity to appreciate the soloists and musicians accompanied by the Philharmonic Choir of Nice.
