Dolorès GALVEZ, president of CREAMUSE: Margot is a teenager from the St Roch neighborhood who suffered a cerebral anoxia at birth. For 14 years, her daily life has been filled with care and rehabilitation, with 12 specialists visiting her every week.
Her mother stopped working to take care of her, and her parents are incredibly determined, kind, and courageous people.
N-P: On October 3rd at 8 PM, CREAMUSE will try to color a chapter of her life. How was this surge of generosity born?
D.G.: Margot is a neighbor of our association. CREAMUSE organizes such an event every year. Our goal is to combine music and solidarity, so the idea came naturally. We decided to offer Margot a motor for her wheelchair.
Importantly, at the end of the evening, we will present the motor to Margot, and she will leave with her brand new wheelchair, and we’ll leave with joy and happiness.
N-P: An emotional and rich evening that will be punctuated by the magnificent lyrics of Jacques Brel
D.G.: Indeed, Bernard GIORDAN, a friend of our association, travels across France with his musicians to present his show “from laughter to tears Bernard GIORDAN sings BREL.” He didn’t hesitate for a moment when we asked him to come and perform this concert for Margot, as the date coincides with the thirtieth anniversary of Mr. BREL’s passing.
Everything was in place for a great and beautiful evening of solidarity.

D.G.: Yes, we are fortunate to have two sponsors of great talent and big hearts, Lionel LETIZI, goalkeeper for OGCNICE, and Frédéric GIORIA, the emblematic captain of GYM and winner of the 1997 French Cup, who are pleased to join our evening.
N-P: Besides the evening, a raffle is being launched!
D.G.: We are also lucky to have partners who immediately answered our call. We were able to organize a raffle with some amazing prizes: a shirt from Loïc REMY and Lionel LETIZI signed by all the players of OGCNICE, meals at the grand ASTON hotel, hotel stays in AURON, a GPS, etc., with over €1000 in prizes.

D.G.: Margot is incredible. Despite her disability, she is a joyful, lively, mischievous, shy, and coquettish teenager. With her parents, every day, they provide us with a lesson in life and hope.
