About Un Enfant Par La Main and child sponsorship

jpg_JJ.jpgIn 2006, 75 million children were not enrolled in school, 11 million children under the age of 5 died from malnutrition, and 400 million children did not have enough water to drink, eat, wash… Because children cannot defend themselves, there are laws established by the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.

This is why Un Enfant Par La Main, in partnership with its teams in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, implements community development programs aimed at improving the living conditions of children and families worldwide and meeting their most basic needs.

Founded in 1990, Un Enfant Par La Main is an international solidarity organization that works alongside children and their families in more than 15 countries through 374 community development programs. Through sponsorship and the implementation of micro-projects, the Association advocates for children’s rights and supports communities in developing access to fundamental rights (health, water, etc.)
