A company from Nice is taking part in the restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

Three years ago, the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris was engulfed in flames. Today, the Atelier Morisse-Marini, a company from Nice, will participate in the reconstruction project of the building and will be responsible for restoring all the furniture in the nave’s chapels.

Currently in the preparation phase, the company, established in Nice since 1997, will start working on the site this summer. Having previously worked in the marble court at Versailles and the Château de Chambord, this new venture confirms the professional standing of Margot Morisse, a state-certified heritage restorer, and Stefano Marini, a petrographer specializing in restoration.

The Morisse-Marini workshop is founded on the solid experience of professionals in restoration and conservation of art works, acquired between 1989 and 1996 in Italy and since 1997 in France, in Nice.
