The musician has agreed to come at the invitation of Rotary Nice Masséna to support the association in its actions carried out for the benefit of the NGO “Water Without Borders.” This independent volunteer association, managed by Rotarians, allocates 100% of the donations collected to field projects. These actions can take various forms: drilling and wells, water reservoirs, mini dams, water tanks, water sanitation, water supply, fountains, and scholarships for students of the Unesco-IHE Institute in Delft (a training school for engineers specializing in water issues in disadvantaged countries).
All proceeds from this unique concert will be donated to the association “Water Without Borders,” which was recognized as in the public interest on April 3, 2008. A slideshow of photographs by Claude Delmas will be shown as a preview. These artistic and original works are grouped around the theme of the “Seven Wonders of Water” for an ecological and humanistic European tour under the aegis of Rotary. The logistics and technical aspects of this projection are provided by EDF Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, an event partner.
