After the damage caused by storm Alex last October, La Banque Postale has set up a KissKissBankBank participatory fund to collect funds to restore the Mercantour park.
175 contributors have already responded to the call. €20,379 collected to date. The goal is to reach a total of €25,000 in the next 27 days. This amount is a significant contribution to the required budget for the work, which is €3.5 million. It should be noted that the campaign has been open since June.

These contributions will allow for the renovation of bridges and footbridges, the reopening of shelters, and the rehabilitation of 160 km of trails. However, the road infrastructure leading to the park is damaged and requires a significant amount of money. Therefore, the President of the Republic plans to commit €137.4 million by the end of 2021. In addition to aiding the reconstruction of Mercantour park, this budget from the Head of State will also compensate the storm’s victims.
