The Personal Services Fair returns to Nice on February 12, 2026. This new edition will be held at the Océanice Congress Center. The event is aimed at families, seniors, caregivers, and people with disabilities. Admission will be free and open to all audiences.

The Personal Services Fair is once again setting up in Nice for a day dedicated to everyday issues. The event will take place on February 12, 2026, from 9 am to 6 pm, at the Océanice Congress Center, located at the port of Nice. This edition is themed “Living Better, Aging Better.”

The event aims to offer concrete, reliable, and personalized solutions. It presents itself as a place for meetings, exchanges, and guidance. The fair is open to the general public, professionals, and students. Admission will be free.

The presidency of this edition has been entrusted to Professor Olivier Guérin. Head of the Gerontology Department and Head of the Geriatrics and Therapeutics Service at the Nice University Hospital, he will lead several round tables. The discussions will bring together experts, public actors, associations, and professionals from the sector.

A program focused on the challenges of aging and caregiving

The day will be paced by a program of conferences dedicated to the major developments in personal services. Several themes will be discussed. Prevention and aging well will be the subject of an initial exchange. The issue of sector reforms will also be discussed.

A round table will be dedicated to Alzheimer’s disease and recent advances. Another session will focus on support for family caregivers and the existing offers in the region. These exchanges will aim to share analyses, experiences, and perspectives.

The day will conclude with a testimonial. Dr. Vincent Valinducq, a general practitioner and health columnist, will speak based on his book “I Became My Parents’ Parent.” A book signing session is also planned.

Beyond the conferences, the fair will highlight meetings between exhibitors, associations, public actors, and experts. Visitors will discover technological, practical, and human solutions. These measures concern both home maintenance and specialized structures.

The Personal Services Fair has a dual objective. The first is about information and support for individuals. Families, seniors, people with disabilities or loss of autonomy, as well as caregivers, will be able to access solutions adapted to their needs. The second objective is aimed at professionals in the sector. Entrepreneurs, employees, association leaders, experts, and unions will have a space to get informed, develop their skills, and expand their networks.

Valérie Cohen, the event organizer, emphasizes the difficulties faced by many families: “We are all confronted in our families with illness, the pain of seeing a loved one suffer, the loss of hope, the labyrinth of the medical journey when you don’t know who to turn to, or the problems of resources. Our priority is to provide connections, experiences, and solutions to families to offer comfort, vision, and time savings in their search for solutions. I wanted to propose this annual event again to create a true platform for exchanges with medical professionals, experts, and committed individuals.”

The data shared at the fair highlight the magnitude of the challenges. In 2030, the French population over the age of 60 will reach 20.8 million people. Personal services represent 843 million declared hours. Home maintenance accounts for 38% of the activity, while assistance to the elderly or disabled persons represents 35%. In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, the number of user households increased from 10% to 17% between 2013 and 2025.

The Personal Services Fair will be held at the Océanice Congress Center, Admiral Infernet Quay. Registrations are open on the website.
