The cause of migrants is supported at the southern border of France as part of Migrants’ Day.
At the Sncf station in Menton, activists gathered to express their support for migrants.
The call for assembly was initiated by the Roya Citoyenne association, the Association for Democracy in Nice (ADN), the CGT, or Habitat and Citizenship.
“Migrants, it’s their problem, but it’s ours as well,” asserts a demonstrator. “I don’t see why we wouldn’t welcome people who are in danger in their country,” adds another.
“We are not at all satisfied with this situation, neither on the humanitarian level nor on the political level,” explains an activist.
