As part of their university project, Les Étincelles, a group of five female students from the Professional Degree in Event Communication at the IUT of Sophia-Antipolis, are organizing a cine-concert this Saturday from 7:00 PM at L’Entre-Pont (Le 109, Nice).
This event, in collaboration with the group Nûn Orchestra and the association Le Grain de Sable, immerses the spectator in an atmosphere conducive to travel.
The Cine-Concert immerses the audience in an oriental universe, that of the group Nûn Orchestra. Based in the Paris region, it transports its audience and tells a story by blending jazz, folk, and Middle Eastern music with nature-derived footage.
It is at L’Entre-Pont, an atypical and cultural venue, that Les Étincelles wish to bring back to the forefront an art too often sidelined in the cinematic field: music, soundtracks.
Their goals are to:
• Raise awareness among spectators of the importance of music in films, or in footage to tell a story
• Introduce the concept of cine-concerts
• Open up culture to the “popular” neighborhoods of Nice
