IWG, the global leader in flexible workspace, opened a new coworking site under the HQ brand at the Allianz Riviera stadium in Nice on Monday. This collaboration between IWG and Allianz Riviera is fully in line with the multifunctional spirit of the Nice stadium and reflects the current trend of sustaining hybrid work in France.
The idea is to offer companies the opportunity to settle with their teams in a center with a very flexible mode. Indeed, the commitment is simple, you stay as long as you want and can adjust these spaces and their size according to the needs and growth of the company.
16 Suites Transformed into Coworking Offices
With an area of 804m2, the new center offers 54 workstations, as well as 16 private suites set up as lounges. All suites benefit from a breathtaking view of the stadium. Coworking spaces are also available for companies that do not wish to have a private office but want to share spaces with other companies, enhancing the community aspect.
Moreover, a client of this center also gains free access to the 136 other centers in France and then to the 3,500 other centers worldwide. This is a significant option for nomadic individuals who will thus be able to geolocate the centers closest to their position.
Thus, the opening of a HQ flexible workspace within this iconic location offers professionals, whether local or traveling, a unique working experience in a most inspiring place.
The Allianz Riviera Stadium, a Multi-Use Venue
Besides sports and concerts, these square meters were not being utilized, while they awaited optimization, which is now achieved. Furthermore, from a CSR (corporate social responsibility) perspective, it is preferable to use existing buildings rather than construct new ones. Now, the stadium has a dual function. During matches, these spaces are suites, and outside of events, they are offices.
A Strategic Site
This is the fifth IWG site to open in the Nice metropolis, with HQ Allianz Riviera reflecting the group’s desire to establish new workspaces in suburban areas and multi-use venues. The Allianz Riviera stadium is an address known to everyone. Additionally, it is accessible from the A8 highway and the Grenoble road, and the site is also connected by tram and close to the airport.
“We are observing a strong demand for the decentralization of workplaces since the pandemic, with employees no longer wishing to undertake long commutes. Additionally, developing a network of local centers is also a real opportunity for the territories: it not only stimulates the economic and social fabric outside city centers but also contributes to easing traffic congestion (road or rail) and reducing their carbon footprint,” details Christophe Burckart, IWG France’s Managing Director.
