A future startup from the Côte d’Azur at the Ministry of Economy!

Latest News

Recently labeled as FrenchTech, the Côte d’Azur has already found young ambassadors! This Thursday, July 2nd, two Azur residents will represent the LISA project in the finals of the European Hack4Europe competition at the Ministry of Economy in Paris.

This project, led by four people from Nice—Jimmy Aumard, Lisa Ghini, Sarah Bouhnick, and Caroline Kassis—won the “Internet of Things” prize from Alcatel as well as a special award from Engie following a major online European hackathon. They were awarded by a jury of professionals composed of companies such as HP, Alcatel, GDF Suez, and Paypal.

LISA (Lightweight Intelligent System Automation), what is it? The multidisciplinary team (developer, graphic designer, project manager, and marketer) developed a home automation system accessible to everyone. Their slogan? “Home automation for everyone.” LISA learns to understand your habits: the more you use it, the more it learns and subsequently helps you in your daily life to save time effortlessly.

As with your smartphone systems, you can ask it questions, interact with your connected objects (lights, heaters, and more), but L.I.S.A. does not stop there. It will ask you questions when it thinks you need something. For instance, upon waking up, it will ask if you want coffee or to turn on the TV to the channel you usually watch in the morning.

The goal of L.I.S.A. is to make home automation and new technologies accessible to everyone in a simple way, and what’s simpler than speaking.
L.I.S.A. will also be available via a web interface, an iOS/Android mobile application, as well as connected watches like Apple Watch/Android Wear.

Thus, Jimmy and Sarah will present the project before 500 people (companies, professionals, or curious individuals) starting tomorrow to attract future investors. We wish them good luck for this project that highlights the technological potential of the young generation from Nice.
