As part of its Greening Plan, and in line with its ambitious Climate Plan 2025, the City of Nice has established the first “new generation” playground at the Ariane Sud-Marcel Pagnol school.
This pilot project, aimed at improving the living environment and well-being of children and teachers, was carried out in close collaboration with the teaching staff, their students, parents, and numerous partners.
Now, students can enjoy 390 square meters of lawn instead of concrete, fruit trees, an expanded vegetable garden, the pleasant scent of aromatic herbs, and shaded areas. A playground that has become an oasis of coolness, helping to lower the temperature by several degrees and playing a crucial role in raising awareness about nature among the adults of tomorrow!
