Currently, according to information from the Hollywood Reporter, the project is in an embryonic stage. The studios have not yet found a writer or a production team. Whether it will be a spin-off or a direct sequel to Deathly Hallows Part 2, we do not yet have an answer. However, the series must be extremely ambitious given the number of fans of the magical universe around the world. Additionally, HBO would make a significant impact by pairing it with its upcoming Game of Thrones project. The battle of the series is far from over, as Warner is directly responding to Amazon’s Lord of the Rings.
When it comes to Harry Potter, many questions arise. The most important concerns the chosen timeline. If it’s a spin-off, the project could compete with the Fantastic Beasts saga.
