The Department of Alpes-Maritimes is organizing an event this Sunday titled “Geology: History of Fossils” to introduce the public to the evolution of the Earth.
A fossil can be seen as a testimony from the distant past of our planet’s evolution. It can be animal, plant, or mineral and has reached us, preserved thanks to various factors.
The Department invites the public to understand this historical and mysterious trace during this event, which will take place at the Musée des Merveilles in Tende.
