Kindergarten Papon was elected among the 30 winning schools of the “Nous autres” contest organized by CASDEN in partnership with the Lilian Thuram Foundation and MGEN.
Great news for Papon Kindergarten and the class of Céline V., who was rewarded for her work by joining the 30 winning classes of the 2016 “Nous autres” contest with a colorful poster representing the fight against racism and an evocative slogan: “Yes to difference, No to racism”.
The objective for the teachers was to tackle the theme of deconstructing racism in a fun and educational way with their students. Céline V. achieved this by working on multicolored faces drawn and colored by her young artists in short pants.
A well-deserved reward for this kindergarten from Nice, ranking among the 30 best creations from a quite broad panel ranging from kindergarten to the 5th grade. The award ceremony will take place at the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, but already the students will receive gifts such as an autographed photo of Lilian Thuram, a young citizen’s diploma, while the class will receive a €100 reading voucher, an educational kit on Social and Solidarity Economy, and the comic book “Tous super-héros” by Lilian Thuram.
