The Pantai Company presents a musical theater piece by Joris Barcaroli and Mats Besnardeau: “The Convicts of the Road” based on the work of Albert Londres, at the Francis Gag Theater.

It’s the story of 120 guys who set off to do the Tour de France in 1924. The real Tour de France, the one with the yellow jersey, the Alps, and the Pyreneesโ€ฆ

At the time, the stars were simple workers, craftsmen, and peasants looking to cycling as a means to improve their fortunes. It’s the story of Albert Londres. The real one, the one who revolutionized reporting and was interested in all the sufferings endured by โ€œmen.โ€ Even the most absurd ones, like covering more than 5000 kilometers in 15 stages.

It’s the story of actors, musicians, singers, and puppets, who take us on a 1 hour and 10-minute journey through the amazing and epic adventure of these heroes.


The performances will take place on Friday, January 25, and Saturday, January 26 at 8:30 PM.
