A marathon reading of Homer’s Odyssey on the occasion of World Theatre Day

This Wednesday starting at 11 a.m., at Place Saint-François, the public will be able to attend a collective oratory marathon, in homage to street theater and a major literary work, Homer’s Odyssey.

Philippe Martin, actor and theater professor from the Quadrant Magique company, will recite the adventures of Ulysses and his encounters with the Cyclops, Circe the sorceress, the people of the Lotus-eaters, and other sirens…

This event is organized by the City of Nice as part of World Theatre Day. Created in Vienna in 1961 during the 9th World Congress of the International Theatre Institute, this day is celebrated every year on March 27 in over a hundred countries.
