On the occasion of a visit to the Church of the Franciscans, which has been undergoing interior rehabilitation work since March—a major step in the grand revival of the Saint-François complex—the Mayor of Nice made two announcements:
This year, for the very first time, the Church of the Franciscans will be open to the public for two exceptional days of tours on September 15th and 16th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A discussion for the development and recognition of intangible heritage (traditional music and dance of Nice) has been initiated in consultation with Stan Palomba, President of Nice la Belle and the Traditional Arts Collective Lou Cat, under the authority of Jean-Luc Gag (delegated municipal councilor), and in connection with Fabrice Mangoni from Ciamada Nissarda.
