On the morning of March 21, 2012, local media personalities visited us at Port Lympia College to publicize our work on various information platforms. A dive into the profession of journalism.
Until now, we had been quietly working on our subjects every Friday without much “pressure.” But this morning, we had a genuine experience as journalists. Under the guidance of Franck Viano, we took on the role of journalists, all filmed by the cameras of the General Council, France 3, photographers from Nice Premium, and Direct Nice.
Each of us had a specific role: photographer, interviewer, and writer, and we all greatly enjoyed immersing ourselves in the world of the press. Specifically, the role of writers, a very instructive experience, allowed us to deepen our abilities in reaction speed, judgment, and oral and written expression as budding journalists.
Surrounded by many local media professionals, we had to surpass ourselves. For a moment, the room was like a beehive: people were going left, right, and there was a good hum, we no longer knew who was the interviewer and who was the interviewee. We were photographed and filmed non-stop as if we were stars.
The fact that so many important people moved for us and our journal gave a lot of importance to our project and motivated us even more. We are proud today to represent our college, which offers a multitude of educational activities. We thank all those who participated in this great event and who helped us.
But after the honors, the work followed… we had to complete the articles in less than two hours.
