On Saturday, November 2 at 6 p.m., on the iconic Promenade des Anglais, the inauguration of the Nice Hard Rock Café will first feature a “Guitar Smash,” a tradition that takes place at each new opening of a Hard Rock Cafe: a session of guitar smashing.
Then, everyone will be invited to step through the doors of this brand-new establishment and explore the 557 square meters spread over several floors, as well as the items from the greatest artists decorating the walls. Guests can enjoy a free musical evening hosted by a DJ.
Medi will present the Nice café with one of his personal items, which will become part of the global Hard Rock “Memorabilia” collection, consisting of more than 77,000 iconic items that belonged to the greatest music legends.
To celebrate this opening, a big music festival titled “The Rhythm of the Street” will take place between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the heart of the Promenade du Paillon, near Jardin Albert 1er.
On the agenda: Free music lessons with more than 50 instruments available for visitors, a concert by the Nice singer Medi, street artists, and many prizes to be won.
