Agua, a restaurant specializing in seafood located at the Port of Nice, is innovating by creating its brand-new “auction” concept to offer you a choice that you won’t find anywhere else on the French Riviera.


agua_restaurant-2.jpg After launching its “Sea Tapas” at the beginning of the season, Alexy, the Chef at Agua, is introducing, starting this week, his brand-new concept inspired by the traditional fish markets of major national ports. The principle is simple: Do you want a specific fish, shellfish, or mollusk? You only need to place an order 24 to 48 hours in advance and then let the chef prepare it “his way.”

Porgy, Red Mullet, Grey Sea Bream, Atlantic Mackerel, octopus, or Monkfish will be the first seasonal products from local fishing offered at the auction. But if you prefer products from the oceans and other seas, don’t worry, you can also find your delight among John Dory and other Rays.
