This afternoon at the Cinรฉmathรจque franรงaise, in the presence of its president, filmmaker Costa-Gavras, Christian Estrosi will present the “Victorine Committee,” which, coordinated by Eric Garandeau, former President of the CNC, and composed of personalities from the film and audiovisual world, will be responsible for a mission aimed at proposing strategic directions for the development and prominence of the site, in light of the analysis of the regional, national, and international situation of the image industries.
A few months before the 100th anniversary of their creation, the city of Nice decided to take direct management of the Victorine Studios last November to give new life to this iconic site, which has contributed to the national and international prestige of Nice for several decades.
