A new community space

1,250 mยฒ have been transformed on the first floor of the former Peugeot dealership and made available to the services of the City of Nice to accommodate associations from September 2011.

This space, managed by the community life service, will serve as a resource center and aims to become an activity hub for all local associations, which will benefit from all the services offered.

This location replaces the facility on the Promenade du Paillon, situated above the former bus station, which was closed as part of the construction of the Coulรฉe Verte.

A structuring facility for the Saint Roch neighborhood

The former Peugeot garage was jointly acquired in 2009 by the General Council and the City of Nice. The redevelopment of the 6,880 mยฒ spread over 4 levels allows for new neighborhood facilities to be offered to the residents.

Sports and performance halls will accommodate students from Jean Giono College.

This project, amounting to 8.1 million euros, co-financed by the General Council with 4.5 million euros and by the City of Nice with 3.6 million euros, will be fully delivered in spring 2012.

Let us recall that a 75-space underground parking lot has been open to the public since December 2010.
