Jacques Garence, appointed Director of Human Resources, Administrative and Legal Affairs for the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Following the retirement of Jacques Vaesken, Director of Human Resources and Innovation, Dominique Estève, president of the C.C.I Nice Côte d’Azur, and Hervé de Place, Acting Director-General, have entrusted Jacques Garence with the responsibility of the Human Resources Department in addition to his activities.
Jacques GARENCE, currently the Administrative and Legal Director and Deputy Director-General acting, officially began his duties on July 1, 2006, as the Director of Human Resources, Administrative and Legal Affairs.
53 years old, married with two children, he holds a degree in public law from the University of Nice, is a former student of Sciences Po Paris, and possesses a STEGE in General Management from the ESCP EAP Business School, Paris.
Joining the CCI in 1978, he served as Head of the General Administration and Personnel Department of the Côte d’Azur Airports before being appointed as the Advisor to the Director-General of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur in 1984, and then as the Administrative and Legal Director of the CCI in 1990, a position he still holds today.
