An exhibition begins this evening at the Nice library, showcasing the grandeur of nature.
This Wednesday, at 6 PM, at the Romain Gary library, a new exhibition called “Wonderful Marvels” will be inaugurated by Jean-Luc Gagliolo, Deputy Mayor in charge of education, identity, books, combating illiteracy, and Niçoise identity.
This exhibition will be displayed until October 4th and will feature 16 drawings created using traditional Chinese art and poetry techniques by the painter, draftsman, and visual artist André Marzuk. These drawings aim to highlight the splendor and grandeur of nature.
The Niçoise artist will also unveil to the general public a portrait of Romain Gary, which he created especially for this occasion.
There will also be artist books created by André Marzuk in collaboration with poets Aimé Césaire (honored at the Panthéon in Paris) and Yvon Le Men (2019 Goncourt Prize for Poetry). These poems can be discovered through three short films, also directed by André Marzuk, which will be screened on Friday, September 24, at 10 AM.
