The Joseph Vernier college does not have any sports facilities. Thus, the Department of Alpes-Maritimes has requested that the construction of two sports halls, four changing rooms, and an office for the teachers be included in the development program for the Gare du Sud.
In one of the halls, there will be a climbing wall with 16 lanes as well as two badminton courts. The other hall will be equipped with three badminton courts and two basketball training courts. Each sports hall measures nearly 300 m².
The delivery of these facilities, fully funded by the Department of Alpes-Maritimes, is scheduled for the next school year.
