A new leisure complex will bring life to the Joia Méridia eco-district.

The Côte d’Azur Tourism Fund supports the creation of IVAZIO ISLAND, a 2,000 m² indoor multi-leisure complex that will open its doors in the Joia Méridia eco-district in Nice in 2026. This project is part of the dynamics of the new urban center in the western part of Nice, blending housing, education, culture, and relaxation.

In Nice, the future complex IVAZIO ISLAND will be located within the Hana building in Joia Méridia, a district undergoing transformation. This site is designed as a complete living space, bringing together housing, offices, shops, public facilities, and green spaces. The project fits naturally into this area with a simple ambition: to offer a place of leisure.

Covering 2,000 m² across three levels and a mezzanine, the complex will offer a variety of activities: a “Prison Island” action game with 30 cells, an immersive mini-golf, a six-lane bowling alley, a collective games area “Cube Master”, karaoke, blind test, or quiz boxes, a playful painting workshop, and a rooftop with food and bar services. Open to families, businesses, students, and tourists, IVAZIO ISLAND Nice aims to be a multifunctional place, hosting all sorts of events from birthdays to corporate seminars.

The group is not new to this kind of endeavor, having already established a first site in Bordeaux, which opened in 2022 in the Ginko eco-district. The experience gained in Bordeaux, where the complex attracts about 300,000 visitors per year, has reassured the founders in their decision to export the concept to the Côte d’Azur.

A Project Supported and Rooted in Its Territory

The project is supported by the Côte d’Azur Tourism Fund, managed by M Capital Private Debt. This fund was created by Caisse d’Épargne Côte d’Azur with the support of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and the Chambers of Commerce of Nice and the Var.

The establishment at Joia Méridia also aligns with the city of Nice’s goal to enhance mixed usages in this Var plain neighborhood. Already equipped with residential buildings, a student residence, offices, and higher education institutions, the eco-district will also feature an artificial surf wave, shops, restaurants, and sports spaces. With IVAZIO ISLAND, a new indoor leisure hub enriches this offering and strengthens the social and cultural dimension of the site.

Access to the complex will be facilitated by its proximity to the tramway, the airport, and roadways. Nearby parking facilities will accommodate both locals and visitors.

The project plans to create around fifteen full-time jobs, thus contributing to the economic dynamism of the district.

Scheduled for the second half of 2026, the opening of IVAZIO ISLAND will mark a new milestone in the transformation of the western part of Nice.
