This Monday at 3:00 PM at CREM (1, Avenue Princesse Grace in Monaco), Mrs. Piera Esposito, President of the Advanced Screen Centers Italia (ASC), and Mr. Giuseppe Petralia, Deputy Director of Radiology at the European Institute of Oncology and researcher at the University of Milan, will present a new medical advancement in early cancer prevention for healthy individuals for the first time in Monaco and France.
The new protocol for using the WDB (Whole Diffusion Body) allows for the examination of the entire human body in 30 minutes without specific preparation and the potential detection of small tumors, thanks to the use of highly sophisticated magnetic resonance imaging equipment.
According to the WHO, at least one-third of all cancer cases are preventable. Prevention is the most cost-effective long-term strategy to fight cancer.
