The academic head of the Nice academy has changed.
Following the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, Natacha Chicot has been appointed as the rector of the Nice academy.
Previously a master of requests at the Council of State, she had been appointed as the director of legal affairs for the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation in 2017.
On her Twitter account, the new rector of the Nice academy expressed her joy at this appointment:
Richard Laganier, who had held the position since April 2019, has just been appointed as the rector of the Grand-Est academic region, chancellor of universities, and rector of the Nancy-Metz academy. He posted a message of gratitude:
“I leave the Nice Academy with a heart full of emotions and enriched by the encounters and projects we carried out together. To each and every one of you, THANK YOU for these moments! I am honored, happy, and proud to join the Grand Est academic region and meet a new educational community.”
