The Permanent Conference of Arts and Culture in the PACA Region, led by a steering committee composed of 20 prominent figures from the cultural sector, including Charles BERLING, Olivier PY, Irina BROOK, and Bernard FOCCROULLE, was launched on June 30th.
It aims to be a forum for exchange that brings together all representatives of the cultural sector actors around five themes: patronage, innovation and digital development, heritage enhancement, structuring and strengthening of regional identities, and the growth of the cultural production economy.
The Committee will also ensure the implementation of the policies suggested by the Permanent Conference of Arts and Culture.
These five themes will be the subject of workshops, each chaired by the concerned regional elected officials and four qualified personalities from the coordination committee.
Each workshop will be the subject of two meetings across the different territories of the region, with around thirty people involved. The first session of workshops begins today in Embrun and will focus on the theme: “What tools and dynamics should be implemented to encourage patronage and crowdfunding?”
It will be followed by the other workshops* at a pace of one per week. Conclusions are expected in spring 2017.
