A new sports association has been established in Nice: the NCA Omnisport, initiated by none other than Jean-Pierre Scarfone, the proud president of the Nice Wrestling Club, dear to the late “Monsieur” Sébastien Giaume.
The club partners with other sports clubs aiming to pool efforts and better cover the city area to reach as many young people as possible.
Richard Papazian, representing the municipality, wished the promoters good luck and set a date in the coming years to see the results of their efforts.
The club’s headquarters are located in the heart of Old Nice, at 19 rue Saint-Joseph, and it will be active in various sports disciplines such as judo, jiu-jitsu, luta livre, cross training, football, women’s wrestling, senior sports, and adaptive sports.
Among the partner clubs is Stade Niçois, whose players will try their hand at wrestling… A new technique that could prove useful for facing opponents in scrums…
Last night, Opéra Plage celebrated a new beginning in the sports world of Nice and the Azure coast. After congratulating the masterminds and its conductor, Jean-Pierre Scarfone, all that remains is to wish a long life to the Nice Côte d’Azur Omnisport (NCAO).
